Glass Art is etching different pictures into glass. You can bring me a picture or I can copy a picture or I have several pictures in my portfolio. Pictures can be done in frames or without. Having a picture without a frame is alot more expensive as I have to get the glazier to polish the edges so no-one will cut themselves!! I also paint the back of the glass.
I can do any frame size and the more complicated the picture then a bigger size is more appropriate to get all the details in. I can get a frame for you or you can give me one then I will get the glass. I can't use the glass that is in the frame unless it is more than 3mm thickness as the glass has a tendency to crack and we don't want that! I am open to suggestions and I am learning new things all the time. I put a black backing paper behind the glass as I find that makes the picture stand out more. I have tried different coloured backings but find the black backing is the best.
I have a portfolio of over 60 pictures so lots to choose from. There are animals, draught horses and wagon, Tiger, Lions, old buildings, windmills, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh to give you abit of an idea of what I have but I love doing new things.
