Wiki Consultant Meetup

Join us for an informative event for business owners, authors, entrepreneurs, and public figures who want to learn more about Wikipedia. The session will cover Wikipedia’s content rules, notability requirements, reliable sources, and common mistakes to avoid when creating a page. A Wikipedia consultant will explain how research, proper references, and neutral writing play a role in preparing content for Wikipedia. Attendees will also learn why meeting Wikipedia’s guidelines matters and why having a page published is never guaranteed. This event is a useful opportunity to understand the process, ask questions, and learn how to present information about a person or business in a factual and responsible way.
