GMAC BUILDERS LTD

Geoff fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a builder way back in the late seventies with an apprenticeship for a large architectural housing Christchurch construction company. Here he climbed the ladder quickly, taking a leading foreman’s position within four years.

In 1990 he took the plunge into self-employment forming a partnership with a building mate. Fifteen years in this partnership not only provided a good grounding for managing and administering a small business, but also cemented many long-term associations with sub-contractors and employees alike.

In February 2005, GMac Builders Ltd was established, with Geoff as Managing Director, and Lee working behind the scenes running the administration side of the business.

Many people who are inclined on saving have realized that it is not necessary to refurbish the kitchen refurbishment by spending their entire saving or by taking out a home equity loan. One thing these home owners have found in the process is that buying kitchen cabinets is as good as buying those expensive custom made cabinets from the retail shop.
